Screenshots and reference photos let it check its work and copy real things; web lookups find references and real sizes (web search $0.01 each, plus up to $0.032 per page it reads). Both are off on free messages.

Extract game assets (one time)

The editor shows real 3DXChat models and materials by reading them from your local game install. They are cached in and never leave this PC.

Game folder

Link your game

Pick your 3DXChat Game folder (the one with 3DXChat_Data in it), e.g. Downloads\3DXChatLauncherV6\3DXChat\Game. The editor reads the game's models and textures on this PC — nothing is uploaded, even if your browser's prompt says "upload".

Inside the SBS window your browser may ask for the 3DXChat_Data folder itself instead. Textures stored in the game's "crunched" format keep their average colour here; the desktop app shows all of them.
